Barbide should be changed daily in all of your containers even if its plastic, glass and tubs. Barbicide solution should also be used if you have diluted incorrectly or the solution has been contaminated. 

You should only leave your tools and implements soaking in the Barbicide solution for around 10 minutes. Leaving to soak for 10 minutes this allows for the pathogens to be killed. 

Yes, you can dilute barbicide with water to create the solution and it can be used in a spray bottle. The spray disinfectant solution is really handy for disinfecting salon chairs, trolleys, washing stations, countertops, etc. Make sure to leave the spray to adhere to the surface before wiping it away. 

Once your tools and implements have finished soaking in the barbicide solution you will need to remove them out of the barbicide jar and rinse well with plain water and make sure to store your tools safely until you need to use them again.
