The term 'you', ’purchaser’ or ’buyer’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions shall be the only terms of the contract between CM Hair and Beauty Supplies Limited (Seller) and the purchaser (Buyer). No other conditions shall have effect unless agreed in writing.

Trade Only
CM Hair and Beauty Supplies Limited operate exclusively as a wholesaler, it does not sell directly to the General Public. It does not deal with Consumer Sales. All sales are to the Trade. By placing an order with CM Hair and Beauty Supplies Limited you are confirming that you are not a Consumer for the purposes of the Consumer Credit legislation and for the purposes of Sale of Goods legislation and that you are in business and purchasing the goods for the purpose of that business and not for personal use. All products sold on this website are intended for those qualified in the hairdressing or beauty trade and are for sale on a trade-only basis.

Customers should be qualified to use the products sold on this website. Goods are sold on the understanding that they will be used for their intended purpose. No responsibility will be accepted by The Seller for trained or untrained personnel without qualified supervision using or the misuse of equipment supplied by The Seller or injury resulting from accidental misuse by untrained personnel without qualified supervision. If you are a business customer, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are insured for the products that you are using and we reserve the right to ask for proof of professional status and to refuse to fulfil an order if we believe the person ordering is not a trade customer.

To shop in-store, you'll need to prove your work and/or are qualified in the hair or beauty industry. Our store will accept the following two forms of proof:

- Salon business card and a letter from a solicitor or accountant
- Third-party insurance certificate
- Course completion certificate
- Student enrolment letter, stating course dates
- Trade reference or buying card from another hair and beauty trade supplier
- Business chequebook or business credit card

Along with one of the following forms of identification:

- Driving license
- Utility bill
- Passport

Price Promise
At CM Hair and Beauty Supplies “Our Aim is Your Gain” therefore our price promise guarantees you the lowest price available within a 10-mile radius of our store. If you can purchase the same product at a cheaper price than ours WE GUARANTEE TO MATCH THE PRICE. The same product must be available at a local supplier (within 10 miles of our warehouse). Our price promise applies where the offer price can be verified by written evidence (advert or flyer). We are unable to accept handwritten offers and will not apply the Price Promise to other CM exclusive offers. We do not match website orders and our Price Promise is (In-store only)

Special Offers and Discounts
Special offers are subject to availability and may change without notice, and we reserve the right to restrict or refuse any order or application for credit at any time.  In-store offers may not be available online; online offers may not be available in-store. When a free or discounted product is issued as part of a special offer, this must be returned or full selling price paid if the qualifying product is returned as unwanted. Offers are not to be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Our system will automatically calculate the best possible price based on the quantity added to your basket. If our system incorrectly prices up your basket and we undercharge for the items, we have the right to stall and re-calculate the full order and request the difference in the payment before the order is completed and dispatched/collected. We take great care to ensure the accuracy of images, dimensions, prices and specifications. Whilst such descriptions are given as a guide and in good faith, they are subject to alteration without notice. Please note images are for illustration purposes only.

The cheapest item will always be free. Simply add a total of 5 times to your basket to trigger the discount. These offers are not in conjunction with any other offer. Reward Points are included in our 5 for 4 offers unless specified.

VAT Free Sale
Our VAT Free equivalent sale means the total payable is the pre-VAT total of the merchandise. You will still be charged VAT (that's the law!) but the total amount you pay is as if we had not charged it. For example, if a product costs £10.00 +VAT the total you pay is £12.00. When we have a VAT Free Sale, we discount the price down to £8.33 +VAT so the total you pay is £10.00, which is the same as the original price, but without the VAT. 

VAT Free discount does not apply to the delivery charge and will not be applied to products already subject to a price reduction or discount.

Any item that has a Special Price has been discounted and any offer code/promotion will not work against these items. To benefit from the code simply remove any items from your basket that have already been discounted and reapply the code.

The VAT-free discount code will override any other basket offer, you cannot benefit from multiple discounts/offers. if you wish to keep any other offer within the basket simply remove the voucher code used and refresh your basket.

Please ensure you have entered any promotional codes before checking out, as discounts can not be applied retrospectively to an order. 

Payment
1)   Cash with Order Customers – Payment is due in full at the time of order unless a credit account is held.
2)  Customers with a Credit Account – Payment is due in full, 30 days from the date of invoice. Further orders will not be despatched whilst a balance is outstanding. CM Hair and Beauty Supplies Limited reserves the right to alter or amend credit charges, to withdraw credit, accept or reject orders, refuse applications, or with prior notice, close an account.
3) Special order items require a 50% deposit at the time of placing the order. This deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance must be paid before despatch. Alterations or cancellations for special order items cannot be accepted.
4) Any cancelled or returned cheques issued to CM Hair and Beauty Supplies Limited will be subject to a £25 (per returned cheque) administration fee chargeable to the customer.

Overdue Accounts
After 40 days a surcharge of 4% of the gross amount will be levied daily.

Free Delivery
Orders must be over £70 ex VAT (£84 inc VAT) Does not apply to orders where an offer code has been used, unless stated otherwise and excludes large or heavy items exceeding 20kg and any products marked "Special Order Item - Ordered directly with our supplier".

We aim to deliver within 1-3 working days. Delivery times are quoted in good faith and we cannot accept liability for any expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or late deliveries. Dispatch times can vary depending on stock availability and any guarantees made as to delivery times are subject to any delays that can result from transport delays or force majeure, for which we will not be held responsible. 

Delivery
Only valid on orders within mainland UK. The Channel Islands, Offshore Islands, Highlands, Scottish Islands, and certain areas of the UK may vary according to the size and weight of the parcel. For the same-day despatch, orders must be placed before 3 pm Monday - Thursday & 1 pm Fridays. If the order is placed after 1 pm Friday your order will be processed and dispatched on Monday. If a Monday falls on a bank holiday then the order will be out for delivery on Tuesday. 

Dispatch times can vary depending on stock availability and any guarantees made as to delivery times are subject to any delays that can result from transport delays or force majeure, for which we will not be held responsible. Delivery times are quoted in good faith and we cannot accept liability for any expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or late deliveries.

Furniture and equipment orders are normally delivered within 2 - 4 weeks although some items may take 6 - 8 weeks, you will be advised of the estimated delivery date shortly after your order is placed. Any furniture ordered will be delivered to the front door and ground floor premises only, as drivers are not insured to take upstairs or inside of premises. We advise that tradesmen who are booked to install items should only be arranged once in receipt of the goods.

All local deliveries within a 20mile radius will also be charged at the same rate of £4.99 ex VAT (£5.99 inc VAT) if the total value doesn't qualify for free delivery

Please note, that delivery addresses cannot be changed on an order by a customer once payment has been taken. We are unable to change your delivery address on orders paid by PayPal.  If you wish to make amendments to your delivery once an order has been made, please speak to a member of our Customer Service Team.

DPD

DPD POLICY CHANGE

DPD has changed its policy as of 1st June. If the delivery is unsuccessful your order will be taken to the nearest DPD pick-up shop. DPD will email you the pickup confirmation containing the date, store address and a pickup pass when the order is ready to be collected. You will need to present this pickup pass upon delivery, failing to do so will result in you not being able to collect your parcel.

Before your delivery, you'll receive a notification email and text message to alert you of the time of arrival. If you're not available at the timeslot offered you can click the available links and change your delivery.

If you fail to collect your parcel within 7 days the item will be returned to CM Hair and Beauty Supplies and there will be an additional shipping fee of £4.95+vat payable before the order is resent.

The request for an order to be cancelled will be refunded less the delivery fee of £4.95+vat

Special Item Delivery
Next-day delivery is not available with any of our Special Order Items! please allow 3-5 working days as these items are ordered directly from our suppliers. You will be notified at our first opportunity if there are any delays or stock issues.

Scissors are an order item only and will be ordered directly from the manufacturers after the purchase has been completed and confirmed. Delivery times may vary this is due to the huge variety of scissors available, however, we aim to deliver the goods within 10 days of purchase. Please allow anything up to 10 days for the delivery of any Jaguar scissors.

Simon Jersey Salon Wear is subject to availability and these items are dispatched directly from the supplier. The supplier will aim to despatch goods within 2 working days of order and delivery takes a further 2 working days, but this is only an estimate and time is not of the essence. CM Hair and Beauty will receive the goods and ship these out on the same working day to avoid any delays. Our chosen courier will aim to deliver the item the next working day provided the cut-off point for this day has not passed, should this be the case the item will be delivered the following day.

Sunbed Supplies are subject to availability and these items are dispatched directly from the supplier. The supplier will aim to despatch goods within 1 working day of order and delivery takes a further 1-2 working days, but this is only an estimate and time is not of the essence.

Hair Extensions - We do not keep these items in-store. All Hair Extension orders will be ordered directly from our supplier to be delivered the following day to CM Hair and Beauty Supplies. Our chosen courier will aim to deliver the item the next working day provided the cut-off point for this day has not passed, should this be the case the item will be delivered the following day.

Student & Training Kits - Certain kit items may be out of stock and will need to be ordered directly from our supplier, however, we aim to deliver the goods within 10 days of purchase. Please allow anything up to 10 days

Supplier's delivery times may vary depending on weight, size, and availability. If you have placed an order and this item is no longer available or has been removed for other reasons we will notify you at our first opportunity.

REM Furniture
These are subject to availability and these items are dispatched directly from the supplier to you. Times vary for each item and larger items can take up to 4-6 weeks depending on the item.

These products come with a year's warranty which covers the cost of any replacement part and any labour costs incurred.  In addition to this, some REM products have an additional two-year warranty.  The additional warranty covers parts only for the remaining two years.

If you have a problem with a REM product that is covered under the three-year warranty please contact our Customer Service Team they can request a call to a REM engineer who will diagnose the fault but there would be a £75 call-out fee, this covers the call out and first hours' labour, any hour after that would be charged at £40 per hour.

Supplier's delivery times may vary depending on weight, size, and availability. If you have placed an order and this item is no longer available or has been removed for other reasons we will notify you at our first opportunity.

We do not accept returns on REM furniture.

We have introduced a click & collect service from our Aldridge store on the same day if you place your order BEFORE 8:30 am. We will be undergoing strict social distancing and safety measures in our store to ensure we can get you your order as safely as possible. Your order will be ready for you to collect, contact-free, simply press the door buzzer and tell us your name, stand back from the door, and we'll bring your order to you and place it on the doorstep for you to collect when we have closed the door fully.

Next-day delivery is NOT available with any of our Special Order Items! please allow 3-5 working days as these items are ordered directly from our suppliers. You will be notified at our first opportunity if there are any delays or stock issues. Please wait for your Order ready to collect from the store email.

Customs
When purchasing goods for delivery outside the United Kingdom you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the goods reach the specified destination. You are also liable for any additional customs clearance charges, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. If you are ordering goods for delivery outside the United Kingdom it is your responsibility to comply with all laws and regulations of the countries the goods will travel through and where delivery is to be made.


Faulty Or Wrongly Delivered Goods
We take great care to ensure all goods you receive are correct and undamaged. However, in rare cases where incorrect or damaged goods are received please inform us by email within 48 hours of delivery to [email protected]  and we’ll arrange a return of the goods (at our cost) and send out replacements as soon as possible. If it is more convenient for you to send the goods back to us, let us know and send them to the address at the bottom of this page (refunds cannot be processed in-store) using recorded delivery and we’ll reimburse you the cost of this. Hair Extensions must be unused if you have used them we are unable to accept these back due to hygiene reasons (unused bundles must not be split/removed or tampered with).

We cannot and will not guarantee any hair extensions that are purchased without our specially formulated Hair Extension aftercare products. These professional products are specifically designed to protect the hair and the Italian Keratin bonds. Failure to use these products could result in damage and breakage of the tips causing hair to fall out and be unable to be replaced.  

CM Hair and Beauty Supplies LTD cannot be responsible in any way for how the buyer uses or treats hair extensions. This includes an incorrect application, damage from perming, colouring (including purple shampoo), and cutting. This also includes modifying any of our products. We do not accept responsibility for damage to your hair or skin due to misuse. All products sold on this website should only be used by trained professionals who are qualified for Hair Extensions. Alterations to the extensions such as dying the hair can cause problems especially if over-dying will kill the hair cuticles and any contact with the keratin bonds with seriously affect the keratin. As the hair is chemically processed to achieve the final end result colour tones, using dye on the hair may not take to the hair, especially on the lighter blonde colours.

We also recommend a skin test before applying for pre-bonded extensions: A patch test should be undertaken to check that you don’t have an allergic reaction to the cold resin (glue). To test your skin, place a small drop of glue behind your hair and leave for 24 to 48 hours to ensure you don’t have an adverse reaction. Removal of extensions should again only be done by trained professionals.

Hair Extension Colour Tones
Unfortunately from time-to-time colour tones may vary from new batches, we always try to match up the shades the best we can but unfortunately on occasion, our supplier cannot get an exact colour match when compared to our colour ring. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with the colour you have received you may return the unused product back to us within 14 days for a refund.

Product Availability
All products are subject to stock availability. Stock availability is shown on the website, however, if we have insufficient stock to fulfil the order, we will notify you by e-mail at the address given by you in your registration form. Stock is allocated on a first come first served basis once your order reaches our main server. The Seller doesn´t guarantee the availability of any item based on the stock figures shown.
 
Guarantee
Our hair extensions have been tried and tested intensely and have always been of the highest standard if the correct aftercare is taken your hair should last for a minimum of 1 month stated in all of our product descriptions, for the maximum duration from the hair we recommend you do not apply excessive heat, colour or apply any products other than the recommended aftercare products on our website as these have been carefully formulated to protect the keratin bonds and the hair itself, remember the hair does not receive the natural nutrients your own hair receives and must be fed the correct products to supplement the hair extensions.

All items are guaranteed according to the individual manufacturer´s warranty. Any faulty items which are still under the manufacturer's warranty must be reported and sent back for inspection before a refund or replacement can be issued.  This guarantee shall not apply to damage caused through the fire, accident, misuse, fair wear and tear, neglect, or any attempt at repair or adjustment other than by our Service Department. Hair Extensions must be unused if you have used them we are unable to accept these back due to hygiene reasons (unused bundles must not be split/removed or tampered with)

UK Mainland
Orders received before 3.00 pm will be despatched on 24-hour delivery service (this can vary due to stock availability). Orders will normally be sent by the preferred courier service. Charges will be as follows:

Orders with a net value of £70 or over will be sent carriage free†.

Orders will be despatched via our preferred courier service per order under £70 NET.

Please allow an extra 2–3 days for deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands.

Please note: we cannot guarantee to deliver to BFPO addresses as we use both Royal Mail and other couriers depending on order size and weight for deliveries. The buyer would need to contact customer services if they wish for guaranteed delivery via Royal Mail. 

Force Majeure
CM Hair and Beauty Supplies Limited shall be entitled to cancel or delay delivery of orders if it is delayed, hindered or prevented from delivery through circumstances beyond its control. Such circumstances shall include (but are not limited to) industrial action, accident, fire, Act of God or failure to deliver by suppliers or carriers.

Cancellations
Before despatch, non-standard items such as furniture/special order items, cannot be cancelled. Cancellation after despatch cannot be accepted.

Returns, Cancellations, and Substitutions
Sometimes the product specifications from the manufacturer may change, in which case we will do our best to offer you a similar alternative. We may experience problems with the supply of certain products and may therefore supply a substitute of the same or better quality at the same price.

Returns

CM Hair and Beauty Supplies Limited is a trade-only website on which all sales are conducted on a business-to-business basis and are therefore not subject to Distance Selling Regulations. 

We are however happy to accept goods back under certain circumstances, as laid out below. In these cases, the buyer must notify us within 7 days of receipt of your goods that you wish to return them, all we ask is that they’re returned within 14 days of delivery, unused and in their original packaging. Please email us at [email protected] to inform us of your intention to return goods and whether you are looking for an exchange or a refund. Goods must be returned to the address shown at the bottom of this page (refunds cannot be processed in-store), please ensure a copy of your invoice/receipt accompanies the return.

The Buyer will only be entitled to a refund on the item purchased and not the original postage paid. This process can take between 5-10 days to complete and for a refund to be issued. We strongly recommend you use some form of recorded delivery as we cannot accept responsibility for any lost goods. If you’re unable to send goods back to us you can request that we arrange a collection, however, the cost of this will be deducted from any refund due. The original delivery charge cannot be refunded. Furniture and equipment orders may be subject to additional conditions, please ask for further information.

- We reserve the right to ask for proof of professional status and can refuse a refund if we believe the person ordering is not a trade customer (see our Trade Only section above for further information). 
- Refunds will only be given if your product is returned in perfect condition with the original packaging intact and complete.
- Refunds on large/heavy items exceeding 10kg will be subject to a minimum 10% handling charge excluding REM Furniture orders.
- Original delivery charges will not be refunded.
- Refunds will be made to your original payment method, PayPal, credit card or cheque.
- Refunds will be processed within 2 days of receiving the goods back.
- Returns of Special delivery items ordered directly from our suppliers will be subject to a 15% handling fee for processing.
- Orders returned will be subject to a minimum 5% restocking charge. We do monitor the number of returns made and may refuse to accept orders at our discretion if goods are returned repeatedly.
- Collections for unsuitable items will be subject to a minimum 10% handling charge and will be subject to a minimum charge of £6+vat per parcel.

Due to hygiene regulations, we cannot accept returns (subject to our discretion) of the following products if the packaging has been opened; Scissors, Razors, Clippers & Blades, Cosmetics, Hairbrushes, Hair Extensions, Body jewellery, Piercing tools & Foot Spas. This list is not exhaustive and does not affect your statutory rights.

Clearance Items
All clearance sale items are non-refundable / non-returnable. 

Furniture and Equipment Items
Most furniture and equipment items are built to order or custom-built; these items are subject to the following additional terms of cancellation or return:
Furniture and equipment orders cannot be cancelled more than 5 working days after being placed, we may in rare circumstances accept the cancellation or return of an order outside of this time scale however this is at our discretion and may be subject to a charge of up to 20% of the value of the goods as well as the delivery charge.
It will be clearly stated on the relevant product information page if the item you’re considering is subject to these conditions.

Faulty Or Wrongly Delivered Goods
We take great care to ensure all goods you receive are correct and undamaged. 14-Day Money-Back Service
Goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt, in perfect working order with original packaging unused and unopened. Any items received without packaging will not qualify for this service. The Seller accepts no responsibility for items lost in transit, it is recommended that a receipt of the posting is obtained and it is The Buyer's responsibility to ensure adequate insurance is purchased to cover the terms being returned. All products are subject to stock availability. Stock availability is shown on the website, however, if we have insufficient stock to fulfill the order, we will notify you by e-mail at the address given by you in your registration form. Stock is allocated on a first come first served basis once your order reaches our main server. The Seller doesn´t guarantee the availability of any item based on the stock figures shown.

Guarantee
All items are guaranteed according to the individual manufacturer´s warranty. Any faulty items that are still under the manufacturer's warranty must be reported and sent back for inspection before a refund or replacement can be issued.  This guarantee shall not apply to damage caused through fire, accident, misuse, fair wear and tear, neglect, or any attempt at repair or adjustment other than by our Service Department. All glass items are specifically excluded from this guarantee.

Where Your Information Is Stored
 
When you provide your information for an order or an account, the information is submitted and stored in our main internal database, which is securely hosted by our cloud servers.  The information that is stored from the order after the customer has successfully checked out.
 
Order information is then passed through the following systems to aid the successful picking, packing and dispatch of the items that are being ordered. 

- Our E-commerce management system holds a copy of the customer billing/delivery address, VAT Number (if You have provided one) customer email address and phone number. This allows us to print the postage label for the package to be sent.

- HHT Order Picker: Our internal picking system stores ordered product(s) information, customer name, delivery address, email address and phone number. This acts as a way of referencing that the correct products are being taken out of stock for the correct customer orders.
- HHT Dispatch: This internal software allows us to monitor the successful dispatch of orders. It also stores ordered product(s) information, customer name, delivery address, email address and phone number. 
- MAILCHIMP: This online programme enables us to contact you via the email address you have provided us with to keep you updated on sales, new products, offers etc. This stores your email address only.
- CM Hair and Beauty Supplies LTD uses data encryption to ensure that customer information is not compromised when being held on our servers. 
- Our data collection and retrieval are encrypted via an SSL Certificate from GODADDY. This protects our information as it gets accessed on the internet. 
- Customer data stored regarding orders and accounts are stored for 5 years before deletion and removal.

Delivery - Delivery options can vary depending on the box ticked on the order form. Free delivery will apply when you tick the delivery to your College Campus box. An additional £4.99 charge will be applied if you require the kit to be delivered to an alternative address as stated upon completion of the form.

Non-Delivery - If we are unable to deliver your kit for any reason the parcel will be returned directly to the warehouse and a courier charge of £5.99 will be applied to your account. You will have the option for a reliever at a delivery charge of £5.99 or if a refund is necessary this amount will be deducted from the total kit price paid.

Payment - Payment for your kit will be taken in full upon receipt of your order. If for any reason the payment should decline a £5.00 administration charge will be applied when we process the payment again.

Checking Kit Contents - Please carefully check your kit immediately upon receipt comparing it with the delivery Note / Invoice included within the packaging, if there are any issues or discrepancies you need to report you MUST do so within 7 days of receiving your kit. Please note that all orders processed by CM Hair and Beauty Supplies are quality-checked and weighed prior to dispatch.

Refunds - If you wish to return your item for any reason the kit must be returned in full, unused, and within the original packaging. Failure to comply with our Terms and Conditions will result in a decline of the refund. Return of the kit will be at your own cost and you will be responsible for ensuring the parcel is against any loss or damage that may occur during transit. All successful refunds will be actioned within 7 working days of receipt of the kit.
