Osmo Planet Vivid – FAQs
1. What is Osmo Planet Vivid?
Osmo Planet Vivid is a semi-permanent direct-dye colour range designed to create vibrant, soft or custom creative colours without the need for developer.
2. Who is Osmo Planet Vivid suitable for?
It is designed for professional colourists who want intense fashion shades, on-trend creative effects and versatile expressive colour options they can tailor to each client.
3. What makes Osmo Planet Vivid different?
The formulas are vegan, ammonia-free and gentle, with highly concentrated pigments that deliver strong, long-lasting vibrancy and fully intermixable shades for bespoke results.
4. How long do results last?
Results can last for several weeks and multiple washes, depending on hair porosity, shade choice and aftercare routines. Using colour-safe, sulphate-free homecare helps maintain brightness for longer.
5. Is it suitable for all hair types?
Planet Vivid works best on pre-lightened or very light hair for maximum vibrancy but can also add softer tonal effects to darker bases. A strand test is recommended, especially on porous or compromised hair
6. Can it irritate?
The formula is non-oxidative and designed to be gentle, but a patch test is still advised, particularly for sensitive clients or first-time users.
7. Is a patch test required?
Yes. Apply a small amount to the inner arm or behind the ear, leave for 24–48 hours, and check for any signs of redness, itching or irritation before use, following salon protocols.
8. Can shades be mixed?
Yes. All Planet Vivid shades are fully intermixable, allowing you to create custom colours and bespoke formulations; tones can also be softened with a neutraliser or diluter where recommended.
9. Is Osmo Planet Vivid for professional use only?
Osmo Planet Vivid is developed with professional salon use in mind, and CM Hair & Beauty Supplies distributes the range specifically to UK trade customers.
