What are Osmo Ikon Colour Additives?
Osmo Ikon Blonde Elevation Colour Additives are bottles of pure pigment to help professional hair colourists achieve perfect blonde results for their clients. The additives can be used whatever the starting level and however high the lift is. Each colour of additive within the range is linked to the colour circle, so each can be chosen depending on the desired result of the colour.

Osmo Ikon Colour Additive Options
- Blue - The blue colour additive neutralises orange tones for cooler results. This product is perfect for darker levels 5-7.
- Green - The green colour additive neutralises red or copper tones and is great for colour correction and removing tint build-up. For use on darker hair, levels 1-4.
- Red - The red colour additive neutralises green tones, giving strawberry blondes on darker levels and beige blondes on higher ones.
- Violet - The violet colour additive neutralises yellow tones for a cool, natural result. This can be used on levels 6 and up for easy brass control.
- Yellow - Multi-Use Colour Additive for all lightening solutions Neutralises violet undertones Perfect for use as a pre-pig tool on blondes to replace the missing colour pigments of the desired target level Designed to be mixed with the existing 4 Colour Additive shades to create the perfect colour palette e.g. Yellow + Red = Orange Can be added to bleach with a low volume of peroxide for a sun-kissed blonde result Can be added to semi-permanents to intensify the colour Can be added to a leave-in conditioner such as Wonder 10 as a top-up colour treatment or to help mask violet tones in blonde shades
How to Use the Colour Additive
Each Osmo Ikon colour additive is designed to be mixed with the Osmo Blonde Elevation Lightening Powder and Osmo Ikon Developer in the ratio: 3 pump additive to 10 g powder and 30 ml developer.
