CM Hair and Beauty Supplies Returns Policy
CM Hair and Beauty Supplies Limited operates as a trade-only website, conducting all sales on a business-to-business basis. As such, purchases are not covered by the Distance Selling Regulations.
However, we are happy to accept returns under the conditions outlined below.
Manufacturer’s Warranty
Any faulty items outside the original 28 days of purchase that are still under the manufacturer’s warranty must be reported to CM Hair and Beauty Supplies Ltd. Instructions will be provided on where to send the goods for inspection directly to the manufacturer before a refund or replacement can be issued. This process typically takes 10-14 days.
Customers are responsible for the return postage; however, if the manufacturer confirms the item is faulty and not damaged due to misuse, the return postage cost will be refunded.
General Return Conditions
- Notification: Notify us of your intention to return goods within 7 days of receipt.
- Return Period: Ensure goods are returned within 14 days of delivery, unused, and in original packaging.
- Contact: Email us at [email protected] specifying whether you seek an exchange or refund.
- Return Address: Returns must be sent to the address provided at the bottom of this page (refunds cannot be processed in-store). Include a copy of your invoice or receipt with the return.
Refund Details
- Item Refunds Only: Refunds cover the cost of the item only, excluding original delivery charges.
- Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 2 business days of receiving the returned goods and may take up to 5-10 working days to complete.
- Delivery Responsibility: We recommend using recorded delivery as we cannot accept responsibility for lost returns.
- Return Collection: If collection is required, the cost will be deducted from your refund.
Specific Conditions & Fees
- Trade Verification: Refunds may be refused if the buyer cannot be verified as a trade customer. Proof of professional status may be required to confirm eligibility for purchases and returns. Additionally, the resale of our products on third-party platforms, such as Amazon, eBay, or similar websites, is strictly prohibited and does not constitute trade customer activity. CM Hair and Beauty Supplies reserves the right to deny refunds or refuse future orders if this policy is violated.
- Product Condition: Refunds are issued only if goods are returned in perfect condition with intact and complete original packaging.
- Handling Fees: Large or heavy items (exceeding 10kg): Minimum 10% handling fee.
- Special delivery orders: 15% handling fee.
- Restocking fee: Minimum 5% for all returns. Repeated returns may lead to the refusal of future orders.
- Collections for unsuitable items: Minimum 10% handling fee and a charge of £6 + VAT per parcel. - Refund Method: Refunds will be processed using the original payment method (PayPal, credit card, or cheque).
Hygiene-Restricted Items
Due to hygiene regulations, returns are not accepted (except at our discretion) for the following items if packaging has been opened:
- Scissors, razors, clippers, and blades
- Cosmetics
- Hairbrushes
- Hair extensions
- Body jewellery and piercing tools
- Foot spas
