It's essential to rinse the dye off after the recommended 10-minute processing time. If left on longer, it might interact with existing pigments or previously applied colours, potentially leading to a darker-than-intended result (around 1-2 shades deeper). This is especially relevant for clients with pre-coloured hair or those using multiple shades in their colouring process.

Designed with an exclusive built-in Metal Purifier, this technology helps protect hair from excess damage by neutralizing metals. These metals can affect the colouring process and weaken hair. This helps maintain vibrant, long-lasting colour while keeping hair healthier and stronger.

Metals, particularly copper, can accumulate in hair through exposure to air and water, forming free radicals during the coloring process. These free radicals can disrupt color formation and cause hair damage. The Metal Purifier in Koleston Xpress encapsulates and removes these metals before they interact with peroxide, thereby reducing free radical formation and ensuring even colour results while protecting hair bonds

An alkaliser in permanent hair colour enables the lift and facilitates the right environment for the dyes to form. Standard Colour like the Koleston Perfect range requires 30-40 minutes or 15-25 minutes with heat for the best results. Where as Wella Koleston Color Xpress which contains the new ammonium carbonate only takes 10 minutes.
