Crazy Color Developer and Bleach

Crazy Color Cream Developer is a product designed to work alongside Crazy Color Fast Toners.

Why Use Crazy Color Developers?

Crazy Color Cream Developer has been specially formulated to optimize the performance of Toners, Permanent hair colour, and bleaching powder by using high-performing peroxide. This formulation ensures that when it is mixed with Crazy Color Fast Toners or Crazy Color Hi-Lift Violet Lightener, it delivers maximum efficiency for lifting the natural pigment of the hair and preparing it for vivid, intense color applications.

The Developer Enhances Colour Saturation: It locks in the colour pigments, ensuring that the final shade is deeply saturated, vibrant, and true to the intended color. This is especially important for achieving consistent, long-lasting results in bold or pastel shades.

Providing Shine and Moisture: Unlike some traditional developers that can leave hair dry or brittle, Crazy Color's developer is formulated with moisturizers that help to protect and condition the hair during the chemical process. This results in hair that not only takes color well but also retains shine and softness after the color treatment.

When Would I Use Different Crazy Color Strenghth Developers?

The higher the volume, the stronger the developer!

A 30 Volume Developer is ideal for covering grey hair and for use on more resistant hair types. This strong formula can lift the hair up to 9+ levels, making it highly effective for significant lightening. It performs better during open-air processing rather than in foils. When used with permanent hair color, 30 Volume Developer typically provides up to 3 levels of lift, depending on the hair’s natural base color.

20 Volume is a popular option, and when combined with Crazy Color High Lift Violet Lightener, it represents the maximum strength that should be applied directly to the scalp. The scalp naturally generates heat, which boosts the developer's effectiveness. When mixed with permanent hair color, 20 Volume Developer typically provides 1-2 levels of lift.

Crazy Color Cream Developer Volume 6 would be used when mixing with Crazy Color Rapid Toners, as it acts as an activator to enhance the color. This is a tone-on-tone application with no lift.

Crazy Color Hi-Lift Violet Lightener

Providing up to 9+ levels of lift, this powerful ultraviolet formula effectively eliminates unwanted yellow tones, ensuring the cleanest, brightest results for lightening hair. The High Lift Violet Lightener not only lightens but also conditions and strengthens the hair during the process. It features an added bond-protect anti-breakage complex that helps maintain the hair's integrity, reducing damage typically associated with lightening. Infused with Safflower Seed Oil and Glycine Amino Acid, this formula nourishes and supports the hair structure, promoting softness and resilience while preventing breakage. This combination ensures that hair stays healthy, hydrated, and protected throughout the lightening process.

Directions For Use

Mix one scoop of bleach powder in a non-metallic bowl and gradually add 45ml to 70ml of developer, adjusting the amount based on the desired consistency. Stir the mixture into a smooth paste using a non-metallic application brush. Apply the paste to dry hair, and process for 20 to 60 minutes depending on the strength of the developer and the condition of the hair. Check the hair frequently during processing, and rinse off the mixture once the desired result is achieved. If any signs of damage to the client's hair or scalp occur, remove the paste immediately.

Do not apply if the scalp is damaged or sensitive. Always perform a strand test.
