When it comes to tanning products what is the difference between a gradual tan and a fake tan?

Whilst they achieve the same overall result, the two products vary widely and are used for a variety of different reasons by tan lovers.

Gradual tan can often be described as moisturiser meets fake tan… it is essentially a hybrid between the two. Gradual tan aims to gradually and naturally achieve a bronzed glow on the skin, building up over a period of time. Fake tan on the other hand is more instant, producing a darker finish within hours.

Gradual tan is a moisturiser that contains tanning agents, such as the Crazy Angel Prolong and Protects tanning agent. This formula allows you to build up your tan until your desired colour has been achieved, without worrying that you’ve gone overboard too quickly and can’t go back.
