How To Maintain Your Tan

Once you have achieved the dream sunkissed tan, you are going to want to keep it Maintained.

Maintaining self-tan requires patience and preparation, but with a few simple steps, you will be on your way to maintaining your gorgeous bronze glow.

Once you have applied your self-tan, be aware that the more you shower, bathe and swim, naturally the more your tan is likely to fade. Pat dry your skin with a towel to achieve a more gentle coverage as opposed to rubbing it harshly. Rubbing can result in removing your glow-in patches - nobody wants a patchy tan!

Hydration is key when it comes to maintaining your tan. Whilst you don’t always need to moisturise before you apply your tan (this can leave unwanted residue for application), moisturising afterwards will help to keep your glow healthy and even.

Avoiding heavily oil-based products is best advised when self-tanning. Oily products can leave residue on your skin and cause your tan to break down faster.
