Klarna is a financial payment option that allows you to shop now, and pay later! Klarna is a smooth and safe transaction that allows you to have what you love today and pay over time. Klarna was founded in 2005 in Stockholm, Sweden with the aim of making it easier for people to shop online. In the last 15 years, technology has evolved, excited, and transformed the world around us, yet Klarna’a mission remains as relevant as ever, to make paying as simple, safe and above all, smooth as possible.

Klarna has two options to choose from. The two options are to pay in 3 instalments or pay in 30 days.  

Pay in 3 instalments: 

Spread the cost of your purchase into 3 equal interest-free instalments. The first payment instalment is made at the point of purchase. The other 2 instalments are scheduled automatically to come out of your bank every 30 days. 

At checkout, you’ll see an option to ‘Pay Later in 3 interest-free instalments. When you choose this option, just enter your card details to complete your purchase. 

There won’t be any interest, fees or charges for using a debit or credit card by Klarna. Although your bank might charge you interest or other fees on top if you pay using a credit card that is not interest-free for example. 

Make your purchase today so you can try it before you buy. Only pay for what you keep. Pay up to 30 days later. No interest, no fees, and no impact on your credit score.

If you chose the Pay Later option, you can pay for something you buy up to 30 days from the shipment of your goods. Klarna will send you a payment reminder with details on how to make a payment. If you’d like to pay off your balance before the 30 days are up you can make a payment early through the Klarna App by paying by card immediately.

Pay later in 30 days is a form of credit that allows you to delay payment of your purchase by 30 days. Once your order is confirmed, you'll receive an email with payment instructions within two days from Klarna. You'll then have 30 days to try on your order and only pay when you’re happy. Complete the payment online, at your convenience, with no extra cost. You can pay via credit or debit card in the Klarna app or by logging into www.klarna.com/uk

Although Pay later in 30 days is widely promoted it is not always universally available. The Pay later in 30 days method is automatically generated by algorithms that are dependent upon a number of factors including the amount of order, the online store, previous order history, and item availability. Alternatively, you are able to complete your order by paying by credit or debit card at the checkout.

If you need some extra time to pay, you can snooze the payment and you can have up to an additional 10 days to pay ( interest and fee-free).
