Easy Christmas Nail Art

Christmas Tree Lights
This design is only 3 simple steps. To create this design all you need is the nail colour of your choice, a Nail dotting tool and a nail art brush. First, paint all the nails with a solid colour (White is a good choice as it will make the “Lights” really pop and stand out). Secondly, paint lines with black polish and a thin nail art brush to create the string. You can do straight or squiggly lines it's up to you. Finally, dot on festive colours on the black lines you have created with a dotting tool or even a cotton bud.

2. Candy Cane Design

This design is so simple as it is essentially just red and white strips to give the illusion of candy canes. All you need is red polish, white polish and nail tape. You can either have all the nails candy cane design or just the one accent nail. Paint all the nails a festive basic white and wait for the colour to be completely dry. Apply the nail tape diagonally to create stripes, Paint the red polish within the stripes. If you struggle to paint within the lines paint the polish all over the nail even over the tape because when you peel the tape off you will still see the white polish. Wait for the red to be completely dry and then peel off the tape. Voila, candy cane nails. Apply a top coat to seal in your design. You can also add glitter and add more stripes if you wish.
